Harry's Web Picks
On this page, you'll find a bunch of websites that I either frequent, appreciate, or recommend you visit for whatever reason. I'll try to keep the explanations as to why each website is here brief!

I don't know who's behind this website, but as of the 8th of December, it's still live and being updated. This guy writes in depth style breakdowns of the costuming of male characters in film and media; sometimes he writes about real men's outfits too. I've had this site bookmarked since I was about 15, and due to the massive archive of blog posts and different styles, it's never gotten old. He's been consistently updating the page since 2012!

Now here's how a proper individualistic webpage should look. This website is owned by comedian and filmmaker Daniel Hutchings. If you ever see me refer to a film as a Thingy, it's one of Dan's. A Thingy is a type of high-art comedy film, directed by Dan on a shoestring budget. As of 2025, he's made 5 feature-length Thingys, and he screens them monthly around Manchester. If you're local, come watch one, and if you're not, all of his Thingys are available through his website, as well as a massive catalogue of bonus videos, a couple of which I've made! You'll see my second entry on my films page is a film essay about his 4th Thingy, 5th Qtr.
